The University of Virginia football team is kicking off the new season with a home game this weekend — beginning at 4pm on Saturday Charlottesville Area Transit will be detouring the free trolley during the game, not serving stops along Maury Avenue or Alderman and McCormick Roads.
Trolley riders destined for Scott Stadium should use the Cabell Hall stop on JPA or the Emmett Street stop at the Central Grounds Parking Garage or the Route 7 bus route where UVA fans with a game-day ticket also ride free, beginning at 3pm.
