Charlottesville is launching a new trail to help attract more people to the city’s expanding selection of craft breweries.
The Ale Trail officially launches on Sept. 8th with the six breweries that are currently located in Charlottesville: Hardywood, Random Row, Brasserie Saison, South Street Brewery, Three Notch’d Craft Kitchen, and Champion Brewing Company.
The organizers are hoping the Ale Trail will help promote tourism to Charlottesville — the co-founder of Random Row, Bradley Kipp, said it helps all the breweries if they can collaborate, instead of competing against each other: “We can work together, share ideas, share recipes,” Kipp said. “It just creates a dialogue and creates friendship. Everyone loves beer!”
