May 5th from 8 – 2pm is the 43nd annual celebration of Batesville – the famous 10k race; the biggest little parade around village fair with a cake walk, Maypole dancing, games and free books for the kids – plus, food by the Batesville Market, a raffle of a ’87 Dodge Ram Pickup, a chili cook-off between the Batesville Market and Dr. Hos Humble Pie and two hours of rompin’ stompin’ blues provided by the Central Virginia Blues Society – FREE!
